The MultiPlus 12/500/20-16 is a multifunctional inverter/charger from Victron Energy. It combines a powerful true sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger with adaptive charge technology, and a high-speed AC transfer switch in one compact unit. The MultiPlus offers several advanced features, ensuring a continuous power supply and efficient power management.

- Parallel Operation: Up to six MultiPlus units can operate in parallel for higher power output. Three units can be configured for three-phase output.
- PowerControl: Efficiently manages limited generator, shore side, or grid power.
- PowerAssist: Boosts the capacity of shore or generator power by adding inverter power when needed.
- Four Stage Adaptive Charger: Fine-tunes the three-stage automatic process to suit the battery's condition and adds a fourth stage for extended float charging.
- High Start-up Power: Suitable for high inrush loads such as power converters for LED lamps, halogen lamps, or electric tools.
- Search Mode: Reduces the inverter's power consumption in no-load operation by approximately 70%.
- Programmable Relay: Set by default as an alarm relay, it de-energizes in the event of an alarm or pre-alarm.
- Remote On/Off: Allows for remote operation.
